As I open my book to read
My eyes feel like they bleed
No, they are not tears
For I have nothing to fear
I speed through the lines
Through formulas and cosines
Question after question
Flying through the last session
I make a blunder
The answer turns me into thunder
Such an obvious error
The question paper will drive me into terror
Two hours left for the exam
I think to myself "Is this a sham?"
I study and get up
Pouring water in a cup
Sitting down to take a sip
What I saw next made my heart dip
As I read my notes to revise
I realized that I will soon meet my demise
Hours of effort with no fruit
All my preparation has gone to moot
As I leave the exam room with nothing to say
I think to myself "Perhaps if there was just one more day..."
