<p>LineageOS is an Android-based custom ROM for smartphones and tablets. It has mostly free and open-source software. It is a degoogled custom ROM, which means that all Google services are removed, including Google Play Services. This makes it nearly impossible to access Google services through their apps. However, most individuals using LineageOS use it for privacy and use alternatives to Google's apps. Many of these alternatives perform and function better than Google's counterpart.</p>
